Abstract
The electromagnetic scattering characteristics of sea surface are studied by using the method based on Integral Equation. The derivation of Kirchhoff field and compensation field of rough surface integral equation is given. In this paper, the contribution of each scattering element can be calculated based on rough surface integral equation. The contribution of each scattering element is superimposed to calculate the back-scattering coefficient of the sea surface. The method(IEM) needs to calculate the coupling between the surface elements by calculating the compensation field. The calculation of compensation field is very complicated. Therefore, the amount of computation increases rapidly with the increase of incident wave frequency and sea surface size. In this paper, a method to control the coupling distance between surface elements (IEM) is proposed for the first time to further optimize the computing speed.
