Abstract
The authors discuss the changes which are altering the way electrical circuit analysis is taught in the Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) program at Purdue University. They outline their views of the importance of electrical circuits in the modern engineering technology curriculum. This is followed by a description of a suggested structure for the circuits sequence of courses. It is noted that perhaps the most visible impact on the teaching of electrical circuits relates to the availability of computational tools. An overview is provided, along with suggestions for the judicious implementation of these tools.ETX
