Abstract
Microwave antenna receivers face susceptibility to electrostatic discharge interference. This study explores surface corona discharge and spark discharge effects on the receiver, analyzing their time-frequency domain characteristics. Additionally, it investigates the coupling effect of electrostatic discharge within the shielding chassis of the microwave antenna receiver system through full-wave simulation. The research assesses interference voltage within the internal circuit during electrostatic discharge, evaluating its potential impact on the receiver’s normal operation. Results indicate interference under the IEC6100-4-2 (EMC) standard, causing read-write program disruption with critical interference voltage values of 17 and 5. This study offers insights for designing microwave antenna receiver systems and anti-electrostatic discharge equipment.
