DINE ‘n’ FINE TABLE is a new form of human and computer system interaction. It is an interactive horizontal display that can allow the multiple users to simultaneously interact with the content which is presented on table. The ability to use user's hands to manipulate virtual objects is kind of pleasing to user as it can make interactions more intuitive and enjoyable. To demonstrate the vast possibilities of multi touch technology the DINE ‘n’ FINE TABLE is going to be constructed and utilized in hotel and restaurant. The main objective of the project is to enhance the customer's dining experience and to provide a user friendly and enjoyable interface thereby reducing time and efforts of the customer. Customer can interact with the DINE ‘n’ FINE TABLE and place an order by selecting from the menu displayed on the order table and even ingredients of the order placed will also display on the DINE ‘n’ FINE TABLE and so on customer can put an order to the chef. The chef's system will be setup in such a way that he will be able to identify the table from which the request has been made and confirm the order.
