Abstract
Phased array receivers can dramatically increase the utility of existing large aperture radio telescopes. Here we present the design and measured performance of a cryogenic phased array receiver for the Parkes radio telescope. The receiver covers the 0.7GHz to 1.95GHz frequency range and exhibits noise performance equivalent to similar single pixel receivers but with a larger field of view.
