Abstract
This paper presents the analysis and design of a dual-linear polarized VHF antenna based on a superdirective parasitic array of three magneto-electric antennas. The proposed antenna has been designed to work as a compact VHF near-field probe in CNES measurement facilities. The optimization process is detailed with a focus on maximizing the operating bandwidth. The proposed antenna exhibits superdirective properties over a 9% fractional bandwidth.
