Abstract
In this investigation, we provide our findings on a new alternating current/alternating current resonant converter designed for use in home induction heating. The system uses just two diodes to rectify the alternating current voltage, and it depends on a half-bridge series resonant inverter to do it. During both the transition from OFF to ON and the transition from ON to OFF, the converter is capable of conducting zero-voltage switching. Because the voltage rises by a factor of two, the amount of power delivered to the load decreases. As a consequence, it performs better than before. Simulations using MATLAB are carried out in order to investigate the differences between open loop and closed loop systems.
