Abstract
The aim of the study is to develop a mathematical model for assessing the informatization object (IO) stability functioning under the conditions of computer attacks (CA). The problem formulation differs from the known ones in that to describe the IO state, the concept of an “irrevocable state” is introduced, into which the IO may pass when the restoration resource is exhausted. A mathematical model has been developed that makes it possible to construct the IO stability function taking into account the intensities of the CA flows and recoveries, taking into account resource constraints. Quantitative IO stability assessment is in demand by information security (IS) management bodies when providing IS, conducting an IS audit and justifying the requirements for the IO operability restoring system after successful CA.
