Abstract
Digital technologies, as well as their communication capabilities, are currently transforming traditional ideas about various fields of activity. In particular, digital technologies and trends in transport add new levels of interaction with society and specific users, and, accordingly, can have a significant impact on interaction with related areas of the economy, the external environment and the social sphere. New business models are emerging, leading to innovative technologies, including new online platforms for assessing the environmental impact of transport operations, and the volume of costs is significant for the business - up to 20% of all operating costs. Such significant costs must be properly managed, based on modern approaches and technologies. [1]. But the assessment of environmental risks, and accordingly, managing environmental costs can be complex. This is due to the fact that, firstly, it is difficult to determine both the actual costs incurred and the associated indirect losses. Second, once defined, some of the costs are difficult to isolate and identify. Third, costs may need to be monitored, but this can only be done if they have been correctly identified and ranked in order of importance. This article is devoted to the study of modern digital technologies in the analysis and assessment of environmental risks, as applied to transport facilities, and in particular, road transport infrastructure. The relevance of the problem is due to the acceleration of changes in the external environment of transport throughout the world, which determines the need to change the approach to the environmental risk management system. The article provides statistical data on this problem, and also considers the prerequisites for improving the risk management system in transport, which today is defined as one of the main tools for ensuring sustainable development of the economy of any country. It is pointed out that it is necessary to take into account the tendencies of changes in the prerequisites of risk management, which leads to the transformation of the management system of the transport industry towards a wider use of modern digital technologies [2]. Considered are modern approaches based on the foresight approach of risk management [3], which is proposed to be carried out at three levels: operational; tactical and strategic. We hope that this article will give a clearer idea of what environmental risk accounting is in relation to transport infrastructure facilities.
