Abstract
In this paper, a $4 \times 4$ MIMO antenna fed by CPW for UWB applications is demonstrated. A substrate composed of FR-4 is utilized in the design of this antenna. The UVB functionality of the antenna is made feasible by truncating the upper and bottom edges of the radiating patch. The modified step-like pattern has been carved into the lower part of the rectangular patch. The size of the antenna is $80 \times 80 \times 1.6 \mathrm{~mm}^{3}$ having large bandwidth (S 11
