Abstract
A reconfigurable plasma hologram (RPH) leaky wave antenna array is implemented in this study with the ability of beam steering. The planar array is composed of square patches that are all the same size. The RPH antenna can change the direction of propagation without changing the antenna structure, depending on variations in the plasma material properties. A planner substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) is used to feed the antenna. $0^{\circ}, 20^{\circ}$ and 30° beam directions are achieved using an RPH antenna for X-band wireless communications application.
