Abstract
The rapid growth of Electric Vehicles (EVs) has generated concerns about the efficiency and convenience of charging infrastructure. The study proposes a novel approach to address these challenges by providing a Smart Charging Station for Electric Vehicles (SCSEV) that uses Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) technology. The study starts with an introduction that highlights the growing demand for sustainable mobility and the need for novel charging methods. Traditional approaches that rely on plug-in systems are inconvenient, have scalability challenges, and environmental concern. The proposed SCSEV overcomes existing challenges by utilizing resonant inductive coupling and intelligent control algorithms for smooth, contactless charging. Through simulations and real-world testing, the study shows that the SCSEV greatly improves customer happiness by minimizing charging time, and increasing charging efficiency. The results show a significant improvement in total charging efficiency, proving that the proposed approach has the potential to revolutionize electric vehicle charging by making it more accessible, efficient, and environmentally sustainable. The advancement of charging technologies made possible by the study which opens the door to a more environmentally sustainable and clean future for transportation.
