Abstract
This paper introduces a new mixed approach for Order Abatement (OA) in Linear Systems (LS). The method employs two optimization algorithms, namely the Honey Badger Algorithm (HBA) employed to find out the numerator of the Abated System (AS) and the Bonobo Optimizer Algorithm (BOA) employed to find out the denominator of the AS. The efficacy of this mixed strategy is evaluated on three Large-Scale Systems (LSS) from existing literature, with the Integral Square Error (ISE) considered as the objective function (OF) for OA. The primary objective is to minimize the discrepancy between the LSS and the Proposed AS by identifying unknown coefficients. The experimentation is conducted using MATLAB 2018a and its control system toolbox. Various Performance Indices (PI) as well as Transient Parameters are estimated and compared between the Proposed method and other contemporary approaches from different literatures.
