Abstract
Some problems of implementation of the free-wave mode in low-Q resonators of Coriolis vibratory gyroscopes for creating an angular displacement sensor are considered. Methods of compensation for dissipation of the resonator free vibratory energy are considered. The results of the experimental studies showing the feasibility of increasing the Q-factor up to ten times or more are presented.
