Abstract
A slotted antenna is of planar in nature is fed by the waveguide of coplanar in nature (coplanar waveguide (CPW)) having the open ended stub of L-shaped in nature is erected from the top edge from inner side of the slot of square shape which is situated exactly in the middle portion extracted out from the grounded plane is proposed in this manuscript. The designed antenna is relatively smaller physical size of 20x20 mm 2 which generates simultaneously dusl resonances at 2.44 GHz and 5.25 GHz respectively. Both the bands are demonstrating the bandwidths of percentage (BP) of 14.63 and 9.48. The gains resulted from the two frequencies of resonances are 3.25 dBi and 3.52 dBi which are appropriate for WLAN and internet of things (IoT) applications. The average radiation efficiency of proposed antenna is around 90% and 70% at the two regions of resonant bands with the resonant frequencies of 2.44 GHz and 5.25 GHz which are appropriate for operation of this proposed slot antenna in the operation of WLN/IoT systems. The proposed antenna has stable radiation patterns (RP) which are accurate in nature.
