Abstract
A high frequency 1-3 GHz tunable pure NMOS up-conversion mixer topology is presented. The mixer is implemented in a 0.25 /spl mu/m CMOS process technology. Tunable range of frequency had been achieved by utilizing an off-chip tunable inductor. The mixer is implemented by configuring a balanced-modulator topology. High linearity is achieved by utilizing various passive components for biasing and operation purposes, A low voltage topology is achieved by reducing the amount of stacked transistors.
