Abstract
To improve the control performance of existing control loop, a weighted double loop control structure (WDLCS) is proposed for processes with time delay. The output feedback absolute error (OFAE) is defined to introduce the WDLCS's performance of reducing the effect of delay and parameters time-varying. Then the selection strategy of the weighting factors is given. Simulation results show the effect of improving the original structure performance.
