Abstract
The special rim assembly is an important part of the intelligent tire development platform. Due to the complexity of the design and assembly process, it is difficult to directly measure the dynamic balance of the special rim assembly during actual operation through contact sensors. To address this problem, this paper proposes a vision-based vibration measurement method for the special rim assembly, which accurately and efficiently extracts the motion of the target at the stator end of the slip ring through an improved two-step upsampling phase correlation matching algorithm, and indirectly evaluates the dynamic balance status of the special rim assembly based on the motion signal. Experiments under displacement platform testing experiment and variable load conditions on the Flat-Trac bench show that the visual measurement method proposed in this paper can accurately acquire the motion of the target position in the image plane, and realizes the purpose of quickly and accurately evaluating the dynamic balance of the special rim assembly.
