Abstract
In industrial production, traditional fieldbus communication methods are commonly used, but they are becoming inadequate as industries prioritize flexibility and handle more complex tasks. Despite the limitations of Industrial Ethernet in terms of stability and reliability, modern industrial control systems still heavily rely on fieldbus communication. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a hybrid virtualization system based on Deterministic Networking Ethernet (DetNet). By adhering to the IEC 61499 standard and prioritizing message types, our approach ensures predictable communication latency and transmission time. The hybrid architecture combines virtualization technology for efficient resource allocation and hardware control with lightweight containers for dynamic resource allocation and rapid application deployment. Through simulations and performance evaluations, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our architecture in providing enhanced flexibility and efficient communication for modern industrial control systems.
