Abstract
The aim of this study is to develop a wind farm levelized cost model based on the reliability of wind turbines in order to investigate the relationship between reliability and cost of wind power generation systems in real operations. The reliability of wind farms is crucial for the stability and sustainability of energy production. By employing reliability engineering and wind farm operational data, this study constructs a model that can assess the probability of failure and repair time of wind turbines under various environmental conditions, as well as the maintenance costs associated with reliability, while taking into account the fluctuations in electricity production and market prices of wind farms, in order to more comprehensively assess the levelized cost and optimize the maintenance schedules, resource allocations, and design of the wind farms to maximize improve reliability while reducing costs..
