Abstract
Based on demand uncertainty and from the perspective of the core enterprise, this paper studies the behavior of service competition between two supply chains, each consisting of one wholesaler and one retailer. We discuss the optimal service strategy of decentralized and centralized supply chain using game-theoretical concepts, and analyze the influence of demand uncertainty to the profit of core enterprise. The result illustrates that centralized decision may enhance competitiveness and reduce profit of manufacturer, but customer can benefit from it.
