Abstract
In response to the issue of the limited functionality of current household chairs, this paper designs an intelligent household chair that autonomously adjusts its angle and switches preferred audio based on the Edge AI development board EasyDL-EdgeBoard. A self-made dataset is trained on the Paddle PaddleEasyDL model training platform on the development board's official website, and the training results are applied to the DIY household chair to implement the function of adjusting the backrest angle and playing audio based on facial expression recognition results. The experiment shows that an intelligent household chair based on facial expression recognition can effectively enhance users' emotional experience during use.
