Abstract
In this study, the radiation efficiency of a monopole antenna using a transparent conductive film with respect to the film thickness and conductivity is investigated. It is found that when the conductivity of the material is low and the film thickness becomes thin, not only the radiation efficiency decreases due to the increase in the material loss, but also the reflection characteristics of the antenna deteriorate due to impedance mismatch, resulting in being difficult in efficient feeding and steeply decreasing in antenna gain.
