Abstract
A bistatic antenna array with low sidelobe and high isolation operating in K-band for ETC applications is presented in this paper. This array is consisted of two similar low sidelobe 1 × 8 linear array. The characteristics of proposed antenna array are thoroughly investigated. The simulated and measured gains of the array is above 11dBi. The measured sidelobe level is under -16dB and the measured isolation is better than 30dB. The low sidelobe level and high isolation of the proposed bistatic array makes it an excellent candidate for ETC applications.
