Abstract
This work focused on the effect of the multiple connection modes of capacitors in the circuit of a specific single-degree-of-freedom electromagnetic vibration energy harvest, especially the combined connection mode rarely studied previously, on the load response. The accurate electromagnetic vibration energy harvest equivalent circuit model was established in the simulation software to well represent its output characteristics in reality. The simulation results indicated that under the circumstance that all parameters are constant, only different connection modes of capacitors can cause the load to perform diverse response characteristics, and the combined connection mode is particularly prominent. Load power versus applied frequency and maximum load power versus capacitor value under the multiple connection modes are revealed respectively, providing guidance for the selection of the capacitor connection modes.
