Abstract
Due to voltage losing, wrong wiring, voltage displacement and other reasons, smart meter in operation often occurs voltage out-of-limit, which affects the safety, accuracy and reliability of the operation of electric energy metering devices. Based on two field examples, this paper expounds the voltage out-of-limit caused by equipment failure and wrong wiring, and establishes a mathematical model of voltage out-of-limit, and analyzes the risks of measurement inaccuracy, safety, electricity stealing and power supply service, and puts forward detailed prevention strategy to improve the operation and management level of smart meters and effectively prevent various risks.
