Abstract
This paper shows an example of how Google Suite tools, Google sheets functions and some fairly low-level App scripting is being used to monitor the delivery of a taught module where there are 3 different student groups taking the module and where some are on campus and some are remote learners. The total cohort size is just under 100 making manual monitoring of engagement not practical. The module is a taught module on Law for Engineering Management delivered as part of a number of programmes in the Department of Electronic Engineering at the University of York, England. Presented is an overview of the tool along with some of the functions used and their pitfalls. Finally, examples of some of the oversight sections of the Engagement Dashboard sheet are shown. The tool is currently enabling very close and continuous monitoring of the module delivery and is helping to identify where individual and cohort wide interventions are required to keep engagement high.
