Abstract
The multiphase air-core pulsed alternator has multiple uses of directed energy systems, power adjustment, and so on. In this paper, a multiphase air-core pulsed alternator system is analyzed and simulated. The working process of the eight-phase air-core pulsed alternator is described in detail and its mathematical model is given. A Simulink simulation model is established, and the way of working of the entire system is simulated through it. Finally, because the firing angle of thyristors in the discharge controller is determined by detecting the rotor position, we give the structure and principle of the motor position detection device and analyze the waveform of discharge current under different trigger angles through simulation.
