Abstract
In this paper the main development issues for a X-band 1:32 distribution network are highlighted. Amplitude and phase balance of the microstrip circuit in a quite huge housing must be very accurate, while the different thermal expansion coefficients of the involved materials must be compensated without any effect to RF performance. By use of elastomer conductive gaskets, compensation of different expansion coefficients can be achieved together with RF de-coupling between all paths.
