Abstract
Charge carrier's (electron or hole) propagation in rectangular quantum rod was investigated. It turned out that in rod the autoreduction process takes place. Using advanced Green's functions techniques, suitable for analyses of broken-symmetry structures, the charge carrier's concentrations are found and a behavior of autoreduction was estimated. It was shown that specific skin effect appears in quantum rods
