Abstract
An adaptable wideband microstrip patch antenna is presented in this research having dimensions 27.5 × 17 × 0.78 mm 3 , which can be applied to wireless communication applications purposes. The design of this antenna utilizes the semi-flexible material RT Duroid 5880 and copper is used as radiating material for both patch and ground. To improve the performance, various slots are added, and defective ground structure is utilized. The antenna design is completed with a frequency of 3.8 GHz and an impedance bandwidth of 1250 MHz. The suggested antenna is modelled using CST Studio Suite. The suggested antenna is useful for fitness tracking, GPS, RFID, medical, military applications.
