Abstract
The materials designed for sustainability play a critical role in transient electronics. Herein, we present a combination of such materials i.e., polyaniline (PANi) and polyethene oxide (PEO), which is optimized nanofibers formation via a simple and inexpensive electrospinning technique. Various fabrication parameters, such as concentration of PEO, applied voltage and collecting distance etc., were studied to obtain uniform beadles nanofibers. The scanning-electron microscopy (SEM) analysis was also performed to understand the influence of these parameters on the morphology of nanofibers. The exceptional characteristics of electrospun PANi nanofibers, and the ease with which they can participate in oxidation and reduction reactions, shows the promise they hold for highly sensitive biodegradable sensors (e.g., gas and ammonia sensors).
