Abstract
This paper describes a distributed coding system based on punctured turbo codes to compress three correlated memoryless binary and Gaussian sources. The performance bounds given by the Slepian-Wolf and Wyner-Ziv theorems are provided for three sources. The simulation results are analyzed against those provided by the same asymmetric system based on punctured turbo codes used for distributed coding of two sources.
