Abstract
Robotics application in agriculture has become a paradigm-shifting field, transforming conventional farming methods to suit the demands of a changing global environment. The many uses of robotics in agriculture, such as autonomous harvesting, weed management, precision farming, and environmental monitoring, are covered in detail in this study. The use of robotic technologies has the potential to improve productivity, maximize the use of available resources, and support sustainable farming methods. The abstract delves into how agricultural robots have become more capable due to technical breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and the Internet of Things. Notwithstanding the potential, difficulties are addressed, including the expense of the initial investment, worries about data security, and legal issues. These issues highlight the significance of cooperative efforts between academics, engineers and farmers. The abstract outlines the enormous potential applications of robotics in agriculture in the future, including advances in advanced data analytics, autonomous vehicles, and crop-specific robots. The utilization of robotics in agriculture has emerged as a transformative force revolutionizing traditional farming practices. This paper presents a comprehensive review of the multifaceted landscape of agricultural robotics, encompassing its diverse applications, prevalent challenges, and promising future prospects. It also offers a holistic perspective on the evolving landscape of agricultural robotics. It aims to guide researchers, practitioners, and policymakers toward harnessing the full potential of robotics in agriculture, fostering sustainable practices, and meeting the challenges of feeding a growing global population.
