Abstract
The ALICE Dimuon Spectrometer High Level Trigger (dHLT) is an online processing stage whose primary function is to select interesting events amidst unwanted background events. This document describes a hit reconstruction algorithm for the dHLT. Emphasis is placed on the design description for implementation of the algorithm in the High Level Trigger - Read Out Receiver Card (HLT - RORC).
