Abstract
This paper presents a SIW cavity antenna for millimeter-wave applications. The antenna is characterized by high performance and low loss using dielectric substrate-based integrated waveguide technology. Through simulation analysis, we find that the antenna has a good matching bandwidth of S11 < -10 dB in the band of 34.4-36.3 GHz. At 35 GHz, the gain of the antenna reached 7.0 dBi, showing superior radiation performance. In addition, the antenna has a compact size, making it ideal for millimeter wave communication systems.
