Abstract
In recent years, the use of biometric authentication, especially fingerprint, has increased its popularity as a secure personal identification tool in the economic period. This article aims to explore the security and usability of fingerprint technology in the financial industry. The study includes a review of the available literature on the subject and a survey of 200 participants. The results show that the fingerprint recognition device is a reliable financial and security authentication method with high accuracy and low fraud risk. However, there are still some practical problems, especially regarding the elderly and people with physical disabilities.
