Abstract
Frequency shiftable liquid crystal (LC) patch antennae with microstrip line feeding and coplanar waveguide feeding are reported. Both devices show continuous frequency tunability, while the radiation property remains almost unchanged for all their states. This property is very important for applications that need frequency tunability combined with constant antenna radiation.
