Abstract
This Paper presents a cascaded PF enhanced interleaved Cuk-flyback converter based two stage battery charging solution for battery powered automobiles. The interleaved /parallel configuration boons the system with lower electrical stress due to current division. The usage of flyback garnishes the battery charger with physical isolation between load and supply terminal. The model for battery powered automobiles is developed in MATLAB as well as RT Lab software and the simulated and real time results are analyzed and discussed to verify the performance of the presented system.
