Abstract
Green building is an initiative aimed at reducing the impact of global warming. Green buildings can serve as a sustainable development concept. As a higher education institution, Nusa Putra University (UNsP) is responsible for setting an example in sustainability practices in the midst of infrastructure development. This study aims to provide an assessment and recommendations based on the concept of green building on greenship criteria for new buildings version 1.2, especially in the category of Appropriate Site Development (ASD) and Water Conservation (WAC) in Building B, Nusa Putra University. The analysis was conducted with field observations and interviews with the management of Building B, Nusa Putra University. Based on the assessment that has been done in two categories, Appropriate Site Development gets 3 points out of 17 points or 17.64% and Water Conservation gets 0 points. An evaluation is needed for Nusa Putra University Building B, especially the two categories that are assessed based on the greenship standard. Recommendations made to increase Green Building points in the Appropriate Site Development (ASD) and Water Conservation (WAC) categories are providing bus stops in front of the campus gate, providing parking lots for bicycle users, planning the use of technology to reduce water runoff discharge, providing rainwater harvesting tanks, utilizing alternative water such as ablution water and air conditioning condensation water.
