Abstract
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) revised the 5030–5150 MHz frequency band allocation in the 2012 World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-12), an aeronautical mobile (R) service have added sharing frequency with aeronautical mobile-satellite (R) service and aeronautical radionavigation service to support the safe operation of unmanned aircraft communication system. Any new service proposed for this band must be compatible with the existing Microwave Landing System (MLS) that has a spectral allocation in the band. The objective of this paper is to suggest the frequency planning through analysis potential new allocations in which the UAS terrestrial CNPC links can operate reliably without harmful interference to or from the incumbent services and systems.
