Abstract
MBA Polymers is the leader in the world at recycling plastics from end-of-life durable goods such as electronics, large and small appliances, IT/office equipment and automobiles. MBA, which literally started in a garage in CA, invested over $50 million from 1993 to 2005 inventing, developing and demonstrating its state-of-the-art automated technology to recover plastics from extremely complex mixed material streams. From 2005 to present, MBA has continued to develop the technology, but has focused on commercializing the technology, particularly in Asia and Europe, where electronics recycling is firmly established.
