Abstract
Experiments have been carried out using thin-film multi-microelectrode probes (microprobes) to record from locust peripheral nerve. Selective recordings have been made with 8 /spl mu/m by 8 /spl mu/m gold electrodes spaced 40 /spl mu/m apart. Further improvements are necessary to confirm these findings, and to determine the level of selectivity that can ultimately be achieved.ETX
