Abstract
The diaphragm 's contraction motion is created by reverse pressure which is used in human lungs to draw air into them for breathing. A ventilator uses a contrary motion to pump air into the lungs, inflating them. It is capable of producing breaths per minute between 10 and 30 times with the flexibility to control escalating increments by using ventilator mechanism for sets of 2. For each breathing the amount of air is forced into lungs with small modification in ventilator. The setting to change the duration of the inhale-to-exhalation ratio is last but not least. It also be able to track the patient's blood oxygen level and exhaled lung pressure in order to prevent excess or under air by using ventilator. All these criteria are taken into account in the ventilator we have designed and developed using Arduino to provide assistance during pandemics. In this case, the ventilator bag is attached to a servo motor by which it is pushed by silicon ventilator bag and another one-side push mechanism. Our system uses an IoT-enabled blood oxygen sensor and a sensitive heartbeat sensor to track the patient's vital signs and display them on a webpage. The IoT application's options command can be used to set the time duration for inhalation. An Arduino board manages the system to assist patients during emergencies get the accurate results.
