Abstract
This paper presents analysis circuit and algorithmic methods of implementation of an eddy current defectoscope based on the digital synthesizer of frequency. Eddy current defectoscope is one of the most commonly used nondestructive device. In the paper it is proposed some optimization methods of its operation which allows rising of device's operation speed in several time. It is shown advantages of defectoscopes based on frequency synthesizer and controlled by up-to-date microcontrollers. They have less size, power consumption and cost than modern digital defectoscopes based on powerful processors have. The operation speed, accuracy and functional capabilities of the proposed device are not worse than mentioned digital defectoscopes have.
