Abstract
A ∼20Tb/s optical switch with switching time of hundreds of ns and power consumption of ∼1 mWI(Gb/s) has been demonstrated. The switch is based on two-layer WDM and OAM (orbital angular momentum) multiplexing and it exploits integrated photonics.
