Abstract
The improvement of the performance of an optical analog distribution system with the help of a dispersion-compensation (DC) fiber is addressed. The relation between the level of correction of the composite second order (CSO) and the link is highlighted and modeled. A theoretical analysis of the optical compensation is provided.
