Abstract
Sensible objects that speak with each other, connected with the network are called Internet of things (IoT). When these sensible objects are solely vehicles connected over web square then it is called internet of Vehicles (IoV). In intelligent transportations system, IoV is an extended application of IoT. The function of IoV is to sense important information and process it for intelligent transportation systems. This article introduces the Internet of Vehicles (IoV) in a concise manner with challenges and issues and future work is to be done.
