Abstract
The exceptional properties of carbon nanotube metamaterial — a synergy between CNT forest and electromagnetic circuits, is highly expected. In this work, infrared optical properties of patterned CNT forest for metamaterial will be presented. The bulk properties of patterned self-standing homogenous CNT forest in the infrared region were investigated. The influence of CNT metamaterial patterns on the IR absorbance was studied.
