Abstract
A fast Coiflet based magnetic field integral equation (MFIE) is presented for closed surface scattering problems. The vanishing moment property of Coiflets greatly reduces the matrix filling effort from 0(N 2 ) to 0(N). And the standard fast wavelet transform (SFWT) further compresses the matrix with well maintained precision. Numerical results are compared with the RWG-FLFMA based commercial software FEKO and the standard Coiflet method. Good agreement has been observed.
